Yesterday Street-Wear kids and fashion critics alike were shook by the Louis Vuitton Paris fashion show showcasing the anticipated Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration.
The high fashion runway featured burst of classic Supreme red, on bags, shoes, and denim. There was a give and take from both brands; with classic Louis Vuitton trunks in bright red and more understated carry bag with simply glossy letters spelling Supreme.
Louis Vuitton has been aiming toward a younger demographic ever since Nicholas Ghesquiere showcased his first collection for the brand in 2014. The brand has had ambassadors and show-attendees such as Selena Gomez and Miranda Kerr, bring both to the 2016 Met Gala.
However, with the new collaboration the luxury brand is leaning more towards celebrities such as Travis Scott to represent the collaboration, who has already been photographed wearing the famous Supreme Box-logo tee with the Louis Vuitton monogram.
The drop, or release, is said to be in Louis Vuitton stores July 17. Meaning the luxury store may not be used to young people camping out outside stores in puffer jackets and, likewise, the buyers might not be thrilled with the Louis Vuitton price tags.
Many of today's top influencers tool to Instagram to express their excitement for the collaboration.
